Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the “Center of Operations”. When you are reday for the activity you will be driven to the private entrance located in the heart of the tropical jungle. The Pacuare River is considered one of the top five rivers in the world for rafting. Its natural beauty and wild rapids are spectacular. This river borders the Talamanca mountain range where the Cabecar Indians live. Along the river you will stop for a small rest and some fruits and beverages. The rafting adventure will take approximately 3 hours. Back at the “Center of Operations” you may change into dry clothes and use the bathrooms. Lunch will be served at a restaurant along the way.

The Northern Plains of Costa Rica showcases some very scenic countryside towns. Small agriculture communities and cattle ranches cover rolling hills and deep valleys.  The main attraction is the iconic Arenal Volcano. The Arenal Volcano area is Costa Rica’s premier region of exploration and excitement: Arenal is synonymous to adventure and Eco-discovery, where you can embark in a wide variety of activities. Our 5 rappels range in heights of 13 mtrs (25 ft ) to 55 mtrs (165 ft).  After rappelling down the first waterfall you will climb up the side of the canyon wall, 10 mtrs (20 ft ), to a short trail. Then zip line across the canyon and rappel down from the cable 25 mtrs (82 ft) to the canyon floor again. Then continue on short trails from waterfall to waterfall through the canyon, it’s like being in a National Rainforest Park! At the second ranch you meet up with the 4×4 vehicles and then back to our base offices for a delicious Costa Rican style lunch just outside La Fortuna with a view of the famous Arenal Volcano.

Day 04

A place of swaying palms and playful monkeys, sparkling blue water and a riot of tropical birds, Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio is the country’s smallest and most popular national park. It’s a truly lovely place; the clearly marked trail system winds through rainforest-backed white-sand beaches and rocky headlands, the wildlife (iguanas, sloths, monkeys) is plentiful, and the views across the bay to the pristine outer islands are gorgeous. Manuel Antonio National Park combines the rainforest with breathtaking white-sand beaches, among the most beautiful in Costa Rica!
