As soon as you step off the plane and pass through immigration and customs, you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly travel representatives holding a sign with your names. From there, you’ll be whisked away to your first romantic destination: the breathtaking Arenal region.
The Northern Plains of Costa Rica offer stunning landscapes, where charming countryside towns, rolling hills, and lush valleys set the perfect backdrop for your honeymoon. At the heart of it all lies the majestic Arenal Volcano, a symbol of adventure and natural beauty. Whether you’re seeking thrills or tranquility, Arenal offers the best of both worlds. Enjoy exhilarating activities like whitewater rafting, canyoning, or soaring through the treetops on a canopy tour. Begin your romantic adventure by exploring the stunning El Silencio Private Reserve, where you’ll get as close as possible to the base of the majestic Arenal Volcano. Together, you’ll walk hand in hand along a scenic volcanic stone path, enjoying the breathtaking views as you approach the closest viewpoint allowed. Here, your guide will share fascinating details about the volcano’s formation, its periods of activity, and the unforgettable story of its first eruption in 1968. You’ll also enjoy spectacular views of the Green Lagoon and Lake Arenal, perfect for capturing those unforgettable honeymoon moments.
As you walk back, you’ll traverse patches of regenerating forest, a beautiful testament to nature’s resilience after ancient eruptions. Keep your eyes peeled—this trail offers the chance to spot exotic wildlife like toucans and even the occasional peccary. At the end of your hike, your driver will be waiting with a refreshing snack of tropical fruit to recharge you.
To end the day, indulge in a luxurious soak at Ecotermales Hot Springs, a serene retreat where you can relax and unwind together. Spend about three blissful hours enjoying the natural hot springs, and conclude your evening with a romantic dinner included in the package.
Tamarindo is Costa Rica’s premier surf and beach destination, perfect for couples seeking a mix of relaxation and adventure. Its beautiful 3.5 km white-sand beach is ideal for sunbathing, swimming, and beginner surfing. The beach’s flat, hard-packed sand makes it perfect for walking or jogging along the shore.
For a romantic touch, enjoy a meal at Witch’s Rock Surf Shop, where you can watch surfers while sipping a cold drink. Tamarindo’s central location is perfect for exploring the northern peninsula, whether you’re on a sport fishing tour, horseback riding along the beach, or watching leatherback turtles nest at Playa Grande. Thrilling activities like zip-lining, scuba diving, and sailing/snorkeling tours to the Catalinas Islands can all be arranged.

The tour starts aboard one of our catamarans at the Flamingo Marina, giving us access to one of the most beautiful and secluded snorkeling beaches in Costa Rica. There you will have the opportunity to see marine life such as dolphins, whales, turtles, fish, and manta rays. Sailing along the coastline we will show you a completely different view of Costa Rica, also our professional and friendly staff will make your experience refreshing and memorable aboard the catamaran. You can take part in activities that are suitable for all ages, such as guided snorkeling tours, swimming, kayaking, and fishing. On the way back, sunset will be the end of an unforgettable and great experience in Costa Rica.

Please notice that the distance between Tamarindo and San José is approximately 5 hrs. Please take note that you must check in with your airline carrier at the International Airport at least 3 hours before your departure time. If your flight leaves early in the morning, we strongly suggest spending your last night in San José.
