The adventure begins on the Caribbean Coast touring the canals of Tortuguero, the exotic beaches of Puerto Viejo, then, on the way to the Pacific Coast, you will have the opportunity to know the majestic Arenal Volcano and the mystical Monteverde Cloud Forest to finally relax in the warm waters of Tamarindo beach and its surroundings.
Day 1
Arrive to San Jose

Welcome to Costa Rica! Costa Rica from Caribbean to Pacific. For your added comfort, once you have passed immigration and customs and stepped out of the airport doors, you will have one of our representatives waiting for you outside with a sign with your name on it. He will drive you to your hotel in San José. You will receive a welcome package with your vouchers, a country map, and any other touristic information that we deem you may find useful.

Day 02
Bus & Boat Transfer to Tortuguero

Prepare for a day of adventure this morning as you board a comfortable, shared touring bus at your hotel in San Jose. Marvel at the spectacular scenery as you make your way through the city to Braulio Carrillo National Park. En route you’ll pass through the agricultural region of the Limon Lowlands, where crops of pineapples, paddies of rice, and various forms of cattle flourish. An opportunity to enjoy a delicious, typical Costa Rican breakfast presents itself along the way. Once you’ve arrived at the port, you will be transferred by boat to the lodge. Here is your chance to experience the beautiful Tortuguero River and Tortuguero National Park canals.

Day 03
Programmed activities at Tortuguero

Rise and shine bright and early this morning, where you have a chance to enjoy a famous Costa Rican coffee, or tea at the restaurant before heading out in search of adventure. You have the opportunity of enjoy by your own a walk at the hotel trails or take an optional excursion (not Included). In the afternoon join a guided Canal Tour to experience the jungle which surrounds the nearby canals. Through an infinite network of river canals and mangroves you will experience a truly unique contact with nature. Your guide will explain what they’ve learnt about this beautiful jungle flora and fauna.

Day 04
Boat & Bus transfer to Guapiles. After Lunch, pick up your car rental and Self drive to Puerto Viejo de Limón

Located in Limon province on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, Puerto Viejo de Talamanca is a beach lover’s paradise. Here, amidst the exotic flora and fauna, lies a vibrant seaside town with gorgeous beaches, crystal clear blue waters, and some of the most amazing surfing opportunities. Formerly a quiet little fishing village, Puerto Viejo has a charm that is all its own. With its relaxed atmosphere and its own unique blend of Latino, Afro-Caribbean and Bribri indigenous cultures, Puerto Viejo is a lively place to have a fun relaxing vacation. With its gold sand beaches, tropical vegetation and many interesting attractions nearby such as the Cahuita National Park, Talamanca Indian Reserve and Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge, visiting Puerto Viejo de Talamanca is a great opportunity to experience Costa Rica at its best.

Arenal Volcano located in La Fortuna, is the most iconic volcano in Costa Rica. Arenal is a worthy destination, thanks to the dense forest covering her lower slopes and foothills, and her picture-perfect conical shape up top. This area is rugged and varied, rich with wildlife and laced with trails.

Self-drive to Monteverde

A startling haven for all that is living and natural, the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve promises a journey that will make you one with nature–at a whole new level. Located in the Cordillera de Tilarán, Monteverde is one of the top ecotourism destinations the world over, being one of the most spectacular wildlife sanctuary and nature reserve in the world. It is actually home to some of the most endangered species in the planet. Its elevation is from 600 meters to 1900 meters above sea level in some isolated areas. It currently houses about 2,000 plant & tree species, 400 bird species, 100 species of mammals and around 1,200 amphibians and reptiles as well as hundreds of unique fern and orchid species.

Self-drive to Tamarindo

Tamarindo, with its glorious beaches, offers outstanding surfing opportunities for beginners, intermediate and experienced surfers. Sport fishing tours are a great way to get out into these blue waters for the chance to catch Sailfish, Yellow Fin Tuna and Dorado. Watch the majestic leatherback turtles come upon shore to nest at Playa Grande or enjoy an early bird watching tour. Take a kayak snorkeling tour, horseback ride along beautiful beaches, or zip through the canopy of the tropical dry forest on a canopy tour.

San José is the capital city of Costa Rica and is by far the largest city in the country. Due to its strategic location in the geographical heart of the country, San José is the ideal place to use as a base for taking daily excursions to a variety of sites and diverse regions. You will enjoy the excitement and beauty of volcanoes, rainforests, wildlife reserves, whitewater rafting and boat cruising; all combined with the entertainment and nightlife that a cosmopolitan city can offer. San José’s main attractions include the National Theatre, the Gold and Jade Museums, shopping malls, fabulous restaurants, art exhibits, dance performances and opera.
