Arenal Volcano + Lake + Tabacon Hot Springs
Arenal Volcano and Lake. The tour starts with a 20-minute tour from the hotel to the National Park Peninsula section near Arenal Lake, once on-site you will hike along a 1.5-kilometer (1-mile) easy trail for about one hour
During the whole trip you will be able to enjoy excellent landscapes with views of the Lake Arenal and Volcanic Range of Tilarán in the different observation bays that are along the whole trail. At the end of it you will have the opportunity to climb to the observation platform of approximately 10 m in height to get a closer view of the volcano, receiving a full explanation of its history, activity cycles and geological formation.
At the end of the trail, a refreshment of fresh fruit is served, before you will take the boat for a trip along the wooded shores of Lake Arenal and islets to try to find some animals. This is the ideal place to take the best scenic photographs of the volcano, if it is clear. After about 45 minutes, the boat docks in the sector of the Arenal Dam.
After your hike you will be going to the Tabacón Hot Springs and enjoy a delicious dinner. The purity of the water will make you feel like you are floating in an oasis, with birds singing all around and the sound of falling water that invites you to relax and recover your wellness and quality of life.
