Arenal Volcano National Park Hike
Arenal Volcano National Park Hike. On this hike along the trails of the Arenal Volcano National Park you will enter a tropical forest and areas which were once devastated by the fury of the volcano.
During the hike it is possible to see a great variety of flora and fauna as well as sites of interest like the impact craters and the lava slides of 1992. The lava flow is a large accumulation of solidified volcanic material ejected from the crater of this mighty colossus during the very active period of that year.
On clear days you can enjoy incredible views of the impressive Arenal Volcano, the Arenal Lake, the Tilarán mountain range and the Cerro Chato Volcano.
