Half-Day Punta Uva Sea & Kayak with Hike
This half-day trip on the Caribbean coast splits into three parts: sea kayaking along the Punta Uva shoreline past cliffs, caves, and rainforest that runs right down to the water; paddling up a jungle river; and a short hike to the Grape Point overlook. It runs 3 to 4 hours, leaving around 10:00 am with pickups from Manzanillo, Puerto Viejo, and Cahuita, and returning by 2:30 pm. On the river and forest sections you have a good chance of spotting monkeys, sloths, iguanas, bats, river turtles, and plenty of birds. A guide leads the whole way, and equipment, entrance fees, fresh fruit, snacks, and hotel transport are included.
Bring a swimsuit, sunscreen, a hat, a long-sleeve shirt or rash guard, a water bottle, walking shoes, insect repellent, a towel, a change of clothes, a raincoat, and binoculars or a waterproof camera if you have them. Minimum two people; children aged 5 and up are welcome at adult pricing. If the sea is too rough to paddle safely, we swap that section for a longer jungle hike. No refund applies.
